ROBERT PIERCE, Defendant and Appellant.

ORDER

Notice of appeal was filed in this matter on January 28, 2014. Victor N. Bunitsky, counsel for Appellant Robert Pierce, has filed a motion for an order allowing him to withdraw as Pierce's retained counsel and appointing the Appellate Defenders Office to represent Pierce. Bunitsky also has filed Pierce's written consent to his withdrawal.

IT IS ORDERED that Victor N. Bunitsky's motion to be allowed to withdraw is GRANTED.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Bunitsky's motion for appointment of the Appellate Defenders Office to represent Pierce is GRANTED.

The Office of Appellate Defender shall have 30 days from the date of this Order within which to file either a Notice of Appearance or a motion to rescind this Order appointing counsel. In the event Pierce qualifies for appointed counsel, the Office of Appellate Defender shall immediately order any necessary transcripts not already ordered.

The Clerk of Court is directed to provide copies of this Order to Victor N. Bunitsky, the Office of Appellate Defender, the Attorney General's Office, and Robert Pierce personally.
