IN THE MATTER OF BRANDON HARTFORD, an Attorney at Law, Respondent.
On August 3, 2012, a formal disciplinary complaint was filed against Montana attorney Brandon Hartford. The disciplinary complaint may be reviewed by any interested persons in the office of the Clerk of this Court.
The Commission on Practice held a hearing on the complaint on July 18, 2013, at which hearing Hartford was present with his counsel, Penelope S. Strong, and testified on his own behalf. On December 13, 2013, the Commission submitted to this Court its Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Recommendation for discipline. No objections were filed within the time allowed.
Based on the evidence produced at the hearing, the Commission concluded that the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) did not prove any of the allegations pled in the complaint by the necessary clear and convincing standard of proof. As a result, the Commission recommends that the complaint filed against Brandon Hartford be dismissed with prejudice.
The Court now has reviewed the entire record in this case. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:
1.The Commission's Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Recommendation are ACCEPTED and ADOPTED.
2. The complaint filed against Brandon Hartford in this case is hereby DISMISSED, with prejudice.
