PACER ANTHONY FERGUSON, Defendant and Appellant.

ORDER

Notice of appeal was filed in this matter on March 7, 2014. Penelope Strong, counsel for Appellant Pacer Anthony Ferguson, has filed a motion for an order appointing the Appellate Defenders Office to represent Ferguson. Strong states that Ferguson is unable to meet his financial obligations with her for the costs of appeal, and she believes he can meet the qualifications for court-appointed counsel.

IT IS ORDERED that Strong's motion for appointment of the Appellate Defenders Office to represent Ferguson is GRANTED.

The Office of Appellate Defender shall have 30 days from the date of this Order within which to file either a Notice of Appearance or a motion to rescind this Order appointing counsel. In the event Ferguson qualifies for appointed counsel, the Office of Appellate Defender shall immediately order any necessary transcripts not already ordered.

The Clerk of Court is directed to provide copies of this Order to Penelope Strong, the Office of Appellate Defender, the Attorney General's Office, and Pacer Anthony Ferguson personally.
